remember everytime you take off your head you should always get a new gasket, because every time it gets bolted down just being off a little bit can cause leaks.
im the second owner of mine also but my dad was the first. you all might hate us but kr and i had an extra fx1 hull that he screwed up on mods with and decided to turn it into a cooler but when we are done it will be awesome
i have been riding an fx1 since i was twelve and i love it.... its a tough ski but if you can handle it in choppy water you can ride anything. i probably should have started with an easier ski only because i love a challenge which = fx1. but once you get it nothing compares to the fun and joy...
i just run one 500 gph in the open area of my ski without a one way valve and i have never had a problem being close to flooding my ski... KR's blidge hasnt been working at all for the last two months and he has been fine riding with his one-way. its all a matter of what you want to do. anyway...
just run the water out of the ski and flush it out when you get home....
the worst part about the trip is the day we left the waves were head high on the sets.. all in all a fun trip and cant wait to do it again.:Banane57:
