Ha! The board is full of older residents who want to make it a sailing and pontoon lake only. At first they thought bringing the vintage skis back was a fun thing to see but now they are back to being grumpy farts. No chance in changing their minds until the new generation takes over.

I really appreciate your generosity, the only problem is I don't have a way of glassine from the inside unless I cut the tray open which I would like to avoid.

The foam in a can isn't water resistant. Last thing I want is the foam in there soaking up any water if some gets through. Already bought the 2 part fiberfoam kit for $30. Still hesitant to do pvc fitting due to personal preference.

This is on a squarenose. I don't know much about it. The hole through the hull has a solid wall around the entire channel. Tried to show that in the second picture

I bought the 2 part fiberfoam kit from Blowsion. Going to 5200 a plate over the back hole, fill the column with the fiberfoam and then cover the hole in the engine bay with a plate and 5200. Anyone agree with that approach?

Have you installed it yet? Tested it out?

It shouldn't pop off too easily. I was going to 5200 the plexiglass then use a 2 part epoxy resin from US Composites to fiberglass over the plexiglass plate.

I don't want to install the scupper. The hole was already cut when I got the ski and it was too big for the current scupper. I just want to seal it so it won't take on water.
