from what i understand the 4deg is more like the stock bend (slightly angled toward you) and the 0deg is straight (no bend) giving a more aggressive stance and bringing your weight futher forward....i ride with 0deg

pressure test results: font crank seal failure...started at 8psi and dropped to 4psi in the first 5minutes. it did however only drop one more psi for 10 more minutes until i removed the test setup myself. i'll be replacing both front and rear seals this weekend thanks for walking me through...

we've established that already thanks....:stups: was wondering if it would cause other issues like...maybe tuning problems, or inconsistent throttle response....just throwing ideas out there

not sure if its worth the effort really...that thing is gonna be quite hard to water "proof", especially when considering subs, stabs, and wipeouts...also keep in mind that if its hard for the water to get, when it eventually does it will be that much harder to get it out... that being said...

what kind of symptoms would a failing crank seal give?? i'm curious... keep in mind i did not remove the flywheel because i had a problem (although i do) it was removed simply to be replaced with a lighter one...

if i put something like that in the water over here...coast guard willhauls me back in, lock me up and ask questions about a month later!!! so i'll pass too... although i would like the airsoft option to take aim at a few of the tourist rental riders!! LOL

can someone run through the proper procedure for a leakdown test...should be simple enough so i'll do the test before openening up to getto the seals... also what's the best way/product to clean the stator/flywheel area?

when removing the cover there was no gas smell (if there was, it was not strong enough for me to notice it). its been open over night and has had time to air out...but the is no strong gas smell now either take a look at the pics, all that gunk does not seem normal to me
