i was thinking bout buying a hood kit off him as they seem good and reasonably priced, a couple of guys i know have them, this thread makes me think again.

yea im sure getting that crack sorted out will help no end, you shouldnt need a flow control valve,

i filled mine with fiberglass and its holding up good!

brilliant trouble shooting, glad you got it running sweet in the end! did you just stuff the jet in the return pipe or where did it go?

it should be ok when under load from the pump, not enough waterflow with your hose maybe, get it in the water as thats where it matters.
