Didn't think they would wear out. Are the end caps on a sj the same as fx1?

Won't help at all. They are mounted just like everyone elses. The problem I am having is that the ball is not sitting perfectly in the end cap (its locked in, but there is slight play).

Mine jiggle on both ends, maybe if my ball mount was a tad bit bigger it would help?

Is the bendix the same on both motors?

You may have put the gasket in backwards/upside down? I don't remember but the holes on the gasket may not be alligned with the head if its backwards. I'm no mechanic, just a thought...
