I had that paint done almost 30 years ago. I'm not sure how many hands this ski has passed through since I sold it. But, it's really in remarkable shape! I think the paint they used back then didn't have all the BS EPA restrictions that today's paints have.

30 years later! After sorting out a few gremlins, I finally got Purple Haze back on the water. It felt surreal riding this thing again after so many years. I still can't believe I got this ski back!

Shiney bits! The little monster has been feeling neglected as of late. So, she got a shiney new PJS bolt on.

Even more progress! Shortened up the E Box leads and festooned the Ebox with more ADA billet pimpery.

Actually, they are going just that, BK. I almost got taken out by some jackass on one of these things mobbing uphill about 30mph. Out here they don't have the resources to keep them off of designated multiuse trails.

Last project of the year... I cleaned up and pimped out the Ebox. I have a Zeel I could toss in there, but, I think I'll hold off until I do the motor swap. Joey...Do the battery strap mounts count?

No doubt! She's had enhancements... that's a 750 small pin in there( for now). But, that motor's days are numbered... right @Jr. ?

Custom, one off. As you know, a splash shield for these things is a unicorn item. The guy who made it for me said it was extremely difficult to do and I got the impression that he regretted taking the project on. He said it was a nightmare to make.

First order of business was a replacement for the broken Splash shield.

I don't know? We'll see how the project unfolds. I've only taken this thing out once, since I picked it up at World Finals. We had a blast ripping around Body Beach that weekend. It came with a SP 750 and it gets up on plane with 2 people, pretty quick.

But, then it wouldn't handle like a frisbee! I've read a few threads where people have done some bottom deck grafts. One guy cut out the bottom, and grafted the whole bottom off of a SeaDoo 215 4tec, including drivetrain and pump. The thing does 60+ mph! So, for what I have...
