you have to loosen the set nuts, then close the screws, then count the revolutions turned out from closed. (1/4 turn, 1/2, etc) Cannot do it by feeling how far it is sticking out. Dont put much pressure when closing. does not take much to close off.

The water spray cools the sonic wave. If you open the top one some this will make it think the expansion chamber is longer giving one bottom end power at the cost of top end. If you just open the bottom it makes it think the chamber is shorter giving you more top end with some bottom end loss...
