I don't know how to ride in footholds, they feel scary akward, so I'm not sure, but timing is more critical on surf stance flips. Once you get it its easy. Braaaaap

Warped head, worn shell/domes, dropped sleeve. I would guess your getting blowby out the dome causing the rubber to burn. The oring does not provide the seal! Get new domes.
