I got my carbs rebuilt today along with some other odds and ends. Tomorrow engine is going in. Also weighed it. 125 lbs with what you see in the picture, turf and pissers/bow eyes.
I've seen a couple threads on this topic. People say there are bushings in there, I'm sure there are but I don't see how they come out. Do they push in towards the throat of the carb or do you pull them out?

Thanks! Agreed, no graphics. Want to keep the clean look. It was my first time turfing. I asked a couple people on here for advice and looked up a couple threads. Also looked at a lot of pictures to see where people put the seams and everything. I used 4 pieces for the tray. Front, bottom and 2...
I would just soak it in some chem-dip if you are trying to get rid of the paint. It usually does a pretty good job of stripping the paint right off. I dont know about aircraft stripper.
Oh and yes disassemble carb. Once soaked rinse out with water and blow out with compressed air.
