Screws will work. The problem is no matter what fastener system you use water will get under the pads eventually and they will rip apart. I know this seems unlikely, but they do. If you want to keep them they need to be sealed to ski better than the stock adhesive strips.

I'm not too sure about the pre 08 SJ keeping up with an sxr. Maybe if you drop both out of a plane the SJ will keep up. I'd say an sxr is a substantialy faster ski on any skill level or condition, assuming similar mods. Superjets are sweet rides though thats for sure.

Water was way up and moving fast.
My pole is stock RN length. I think it is my body positioning that keeps my nose up. idk.
Scotty's pole is std umi, which i would assume is stock SJ length.

P.S. Any ideas on leveling out my ski during my roll attempts would be great.

Hey Korn,
I am still having problems viewing either version. even if I let it load completely it stops around 23 seconds. Is there anything I should check for to get to see the vid?
Thanks,
John
I had 2 beers................. it still stops right where "Claybanks Township" comes up.
Thanks for the vids Korn. I know they are a lot of work.

Thanks Korn!
I will definately be checking that place out.
I don't mind breaking stuff,. I just don't like breaking stuff twice. lol
Maybe I will take my other bent shaft from last year and have that fixed as well.
I roll to the left and broke the same motor mounts each time (2 under...
That is what I was thinking. I am pretty sure the mounts are breaking vertically. The motor seems to be rotating towards the carbs, not forward or back.
Thanks guys for the info!
I broke my pipe side engine mounts and bent my driveshaft and broke my coupler. It was a roll attempt off a boat wave and the ski hit hard.
This is not a good time.
Does anyone have any ideas to make the mounts more durable?
Do kenny keepers work?
I assume the wetpipe is lighter...
