Thanks for the heads up guys, The breather hole is down because it allows any water that does get in there from a sinking to drain out as well if it rubs up against your exhaust hose it can block the hole if its on the side. These are 6061 marine grade so they will still look like this well...

There is only one pickup and two lumps so you can only run it single channel unless you add another pickup. But the reality is there is nothing to gain by changing coils. the spark energy is mainly dictated by the cdi and not the coil

The inductive pickup as in the 760 system does not require you to put 12 volts down to it unlike the hall effect senor. I have not pulled them apart and gone through the circuit on the bench and I have no need to. I know anytime you're sending 12 volts around a jet-ski you are asking for green...
