Can you use antiseize on the 701 bedplate bolts? Don’t really know why Yamaha recommends red Loctite. Going to be running in the salt

On a superjet pump do you silicone the pump sections together? Stator, wear ring, and reduction nozzle. The manual says to use silicone but I see a lot of people use nothing

New sbt reed pedals. Installed and there is slight slight gap. Will the crank case pressure close them? Tried flipping them. Same thing. And no the screws are not over tightened.

Installing my wsm mid shaft assembly on my Krash hull. Pump is aligned. Do I need to use any silicone on it? There is a rubber lip on the mid housing which leads me to believe that will seal the water out?

Looking in the manual, it says to use some blue Loctite on the drive couplers. Just worried about them getting seized on then? I guess the Loctite also acts as a thread sealant? And does anyone torque them to 20 ft lbs like the manual stated?

Is marine grease ok to use to pack the crank seals? And is it good for the mid bearing? Or should I be using a racing high speed grease? When I did crank seals before I used maxima marine, but I’ve been told I should use a racing high rpm grease

Is it possible to over heat a mid bearing running the ski to long on land? While flushing my Krash out I was running it for 5 minutes with hose and the mid bearing seals melted. Alright, buying a mint 2019 superjet with low hours. Guy never greased mid bearing. Thinking of pumping in .68 oz of grease. That’s what the manual says to do after the first initial 10 hours. What do you think? Then every 1 year it said to pump .10 oz in. Can’t running the ski too long on...

Does anyone torque motor mounts? Seems most people I talk to just snug em down. Kinda hard to get a torque wrench on some of the freestyle skis

Used 1211 to seal up my last motor. Didn’t like how it spread. Anyone use Permatex motoseal? Thinking about trying it out. If not I’ll use hondabond.

Is threebond 1184 equivalent to Hondabond/kawibond? I’ve been using 1184 because it’s thinner than threebond 1211 and seems to dry pretty fast. Anyone else use 1184 on case and gaskets?

I got a 21 krash footrocket 1200. Been running great. I was wondering if it took on water and the engine bay was full would the ski float? Or would it sink to the bottom? I don’t know if they have foam under the tray.
