If you like going fast I would leave it stock and keep your eyes out for a 62t bottom or buy the cases off eBay and swap your crank and stator over and then do pipe, carbs, head, porting. if you wanna put money in the 61x then just put money into the parts you can swap over to a 62t.

Runs great with the OEM CDI but it hits the rev limiter way too soon

I did not check the RPM setting since it came off a blaster with similar mods. It’s weird because I always felt like the blaster it came off of was not running as well as it could. I do not know the position of the stator marks, should I advance the timing?

What’s up guys I have a 94 701 with a 62t/62t raider motor and coffmans pipe. It’s bone stock except for the pipe and I wanted to get more RPMs because it was just smacking the rev limiter on WOT. I swapped a used MSD enhancer in it and it made it run worse. It feels like there is no bottom end...

Anyone know of or have a MSD enhancer for a blaster in or near havasu/Parker? Just built my ski and I’ve been out here tuning and I need more RPMs. Thanks guys
