i know you found your issue but another common problem can be the gauge itself leaking and usually people dont think to put soapy water on their gauge.

i pretty much only ride surf stance. i feel its way more stable and easier to control but it will slow your rotation down a bit which may be perfect for you if you are over rotating.

most the surfers ride in the jetty canal that feeds to the ocean, there is a pretty consistent corner that gets waves that they stay in. they do venture out to the beach sometimes, but there is about 10 miles of beach to share so we never really see them, were about 3 mile south of the canal...

Anywhere from South jetty beach to siltcoos dine access, you do need at least a 4wd rig to get over the dune hill onto the beach. Or there are parking lots you can park in and one of us can take your skis over the hill to the beach. We ride year round as well. Where are you located??

i have the same motor as you and currently have a 12 vein 144 mag, do you think the oem 155 would be a good upgrade? if so what all is needed to swap this in? i assume you are running a big hub impeller at the least right?
