I really like bob holds in a sj. Id say they're worth it. We easily made the tray 19.5" wide. And it's nice to be able to adjust and remove. They come from the clinic with the thick plush foam on em and it's a no brainer to put it underneath them also. So you end up with the softest holds...

X metal water boxes are tiny too

Yes you're gonna have to bolt through the tray to mount the ebox. Use rubber washers as spacers to help with shock absorption. I would glue a stack of foam around the pole bolt instead of the hood too. It's just an option. That way it moves with your pole if you ever adjust.

Ya I saw that. It's sick. Still only 540s. I hope somebody does a flat water double bf and 720 at WF this year. Anybody see one at surf slam? I'm surprised I haven't seen any video of that yet.

Anyone ever do a 720 flat spin? I was impressed when I saw Nick Barton doing 540s in the surf with his FR, but now I see guys like Eli doing huge 540s with a 900 on flat water. Which leads me to believe or at least hope guys are doing 720s in the surf now. Right? Anybody have a video I can watch?
