It's some of that new double sided duct tape...Helps hold the magnets in place.

I had the same thing happen to me but with a aircraft crankshaft (hmmmm,what's that little vibration???). Just made it back to the airport... On disassembly/inspection later that day, while I was prying out the key with a screwdriver, the nose of the crank (where the hub for the prop mounts)...

fharrison WINS the prize!!! (whatever that is). The 5' + surge lifted ALL the boats off dry storage, and most of the floating docks over the pilings. With the high winds, they ended up all over the neighborhood. The high tension lines held some back, but the others came to rest in neighbors...
