I had the day off so i worked on the ski today. I mounted the x metal hood hooks, jetmaniac brap strap, ebox mounts, and sanded everything for turf. I also had to remove a prop form the driveshaft before sandblasting my pump stator and reduction nozzle. So far the watcon hood seal seems great...

yea im not saying it doesn't seem solid my hood just sits alot higher then expected now and my nose piece isnt lining up becuase the hood sits high. im also trying to get my hood hooks/latches set and i want to get this hood where it needs to be before i go drilling holes.
ok so i got my watcon hood seal in today and just installed it... Just curious if anyone has installed on of these before ? They seem great but i feel its keeping my hood too high? i have a 12mm gap between my hood and hull. Pictures will show. ... I was thinking of cutting the seal in the...
done with painting the bottom sides and the bottom side of the hood. All that is left to paint is the nose piece and top of the hood. turf just came in so i will be doing that this week after i just if both sides are sealed because this is a foamless ski.
i dont have the time. I myself just cant spend the amount of money on a quality hull and skimp on paint. Awlgrip is suppose to be the most durable and long lasting. We shall see!
bottom painted.... where it is masked off will be painted white next on the bottom sides. the paint looks a bit orange here but its not. just the way the camera shot it.

Yup there is one if you look in the 2nd picture at the bottom. Paint came out great I am really happy with how awlgrip shoots. i did 3 coats. 1 tack and 2 full coats.
