I can just pull off the bottom case and replace the seal? I never thought about it that way... I was thinking I would need to tear the whole thing apart....
I'm thinking that I will need new ones....part of that seal is up on the coupler....
I wonder if there is a way I can blame matt for this....
Not looking forward to tearing down this engine again.... I was hoping to make it through one season without doing anything like this.... Oh well...

I remember talking about that with matt when I put these in last summer.....I'd like to think that he told me the right way and that I did it like he told me to....
Now these finger like things stick out towards the coupler? Or do they go towards the shaft?

I used the mats you can find in the garden department at Home Depot....you know the ones that people use for kneeling down on when they are pulling weeds... it took about three of them to fill the try..,.. but they are holding up fine after one season. The stuff looks just like the foam that...
