makes more sense to grind the pole to clear the bracket to me...i may want to swap back if i break an RN & only have my SN as a spare.... if i ever get the RN pole on there in the 1st place....

RN hull mounts flat, SN mounts angled towards the rider, the rn brkt on an SN with the angled mount doesn't let the pole exten up very far...the rn pole on an sn mount scrapes the mount

also.... IMO, i'd get new seals rather than switching them.... but if ya got none, i'd switch them till the new ones came in....just keep an eye on them now that that lip has been pushed

yup, the one with the fingers needs to be on the outside, when you pull the bottom case half off, you'll see how those fingers are pushing on the outer seal when pressed into the groove, just switch them, you should be cool

i can't tell by that pic if the finger like thigs are out... 1 seal has them, the othr doesn't, the 1 that doesn't goes on the in side, if you put the 1 with on the inside... it pushes that seal out

define blow out... commonly i see the spring come apart, doesn't seal pressure after that
