For a square in Canada you can get a nice ski for around $2000-$2500. For a round nose your looking at $3500-$4000 for something basic.

I have the identical superjet as yours. Mine was stock when I bought it. An extended ride plate and a scoop grate made a night and difference in handling. Much more fun to ride.
Stick with the superjet, better jumper/ joy ride around the lake type of ski.

I think thats a solid bike for $400- $450. Don't buy a cheap bike. It will work against you which will take away a lot of fun. Then you'll be less likely to jump on and ride! If the trek works out great! Otherwise, keep your eyes open for a good bike on craigslist!
