    DASA Diagnosis

What should it be, like a nice .030-.040 radius? Concering part is the aluminum being hurt behind the sleeve. Once i bore the sleeves out this should be able to be repaired hopefully?

    DASA Diagnosis

Both locating pins are still on the pistons/ring groove. I do also believe theres no sign of detonation. Plugs always looked really good no sign at all. Dry as a bone also no water Measured ring gap on rear cylinder .032" seems plenty if not almost too much? Those rings in front cylinder also...

    DASA Diagnosis

Piston to bore was set from machine shop. I gave them the pistons and box with spec sheet. Also the ports chamfer and ring gap. I remeber them saying the ring gap is pre set and checked ok. They are who i use for my v8/LS machine work not very much 2stroke experience. After watching one of...

    64x No Start Help

Having a no start issue on something i thought should be pretty straight forward! Ive pulled my atp ts2 total loss off my ski after the cdi took a crap and have nothing but dramas over the years. Ive ordered a zeeltronic from jetmaniac and bought a 2nd hand 760 flywheel and stator. While I wait...

    Havoc Rebirth

Some may know the hull, i purchased and imported it to Australia back in August 2016. i came front riding a carbon/kevlar footrocket for a few years with first a 701/bpipe/144 pump and stock electrics then a Dasa 1100/148 pump and total loss. although the footrocket was a fun light hull i wanted...

Few pics of the cable routing, only way i could get them to clear the pipe. Waterbox mounted on a foam block up as high as I could, pipe is pretty tight in this hull. Hopefully I have no water backflow issue if I side mount the ski aswell. And the Ebox mount. Last night she fired up for the...

Water coming in somewhere.... RRP pipe??

Is a good baffle design like the tnt better for keeping water from getting through then the rrp design ? Or is it just the physical height of the inlet?

Thanks guys, think I've got it sorted now. What's everyone use to glue turf down on the inside of the hull? Want to add some rub protection for the pipe against the bottom of hull. Sikaflex or quick grip?

Using 148 pump with 155 pump shoe

Yet test it but gives you an idea. Seal fits nicely on the outer 'lip' I just added some sikaflex to be sure.

Trying to run the steering and trim cables, but they just seem too long with the Comp length pole! Pre 08 cable in use. Currently running it under the midshaft, up between exhaust side motor mounts, along side of hull the up into the breather tube. It works but it's too close for comfort to...

    Down Under Havoc Build

Issue sorted thanks to Jetmaniac, pump is assembled and aligned, midshaft in and have started to mock up everything else. Trim is one I made up years ago on the cheap. Works well enough I haven't bothered to change it!

Cheers! Extended my worxs 242 today and assembled the pump. I put new seals in but reused the bearings that came out as they were in good condition still. However the shaft is firm when Rotating by hand and after the prop is done up its even firmer. Is that common or is there a problem with...

    Down Under Havoc Build

A few years ago i built up a carbon/kevlar footrocket as my first flat water ski, I had a lot of fun on it but was always planning a future upgrade. Found it really hard choosing a hull, especially with our low $$ it's only getting more expensive. My budget could only really cover a second hand...
