They are different we have the same problem pre 94 I was told is the smaller thread. I was told you can use a RN midshaft in the SN bearing housing.

Pull the head off and look it over. All you are out is a head gasket. You don't have to disturb the base gasket, then you will know if the valve is possibly bent or if any contact has taken place in there.

The midshaft measures 21.78 MM so it's 22 MM it is in an older SN not truthfully sure what year but it is smaller than my RN midshaft. This is really a biotch because Tanner bought a set of billet coupler's from a member on here and everything is cool as far as the sale goes. But it look's like...

Yeah I would be interested in seeing one. I do quite a bit of machining in my own shop and am alway's looking for a time consuming money losing way to do thing's.
