The picture was just for attention, I have a bunch of old coils laying around so cut one to see how big the spike was. The hole had been drilled to the correct size for the msd wires.

I'm attempting to rebuild a yamaha ignition coil with msd plug wires. I already cleaned the old wire out, now I just need to epoxy and stab the new wire on the spike, but the new wire just doesn't seem to want to go. Are there any tricks to it or do I just need to eat my wheaties and push harder?
