Got to work on a Wamilitons platinum superjet today. Motor low on compression and got to tea down top end. Also got to speak to Mr.wamiliton on the phone. Some owners with money just don't know how to maintain a nice ski!!!

Yes, I got same thing from thread. I was recommend to do it by guy helping me with porting specs and jetting specs. I really couldn't tell you if it made any difference as far as power, but with crossover filled and jetted the way he suggested ski runs great!

I have a close set like yours except ported cylinder, 35cc domes and I just put gp760 carbs and intake with choke plates removed and filled crossover but jetting right now is 115 pilot, 120 mains, 65 gram springs, 1.5 n/s. Stock flame arrestor and it runs great.

Thanks for replying, that's what I wanted to know. I bought a bob gen 2 and not really interested in back flipping ski, would rather just chase boats. Bob rides too nose high for me even with long ride plate. Gotta find someone local with v2 I can ride! Lol

I'm interested in how he liked the ride coming off a bob gen 2? Nose high as bob? More of a wave chaser?

Who makes those base plates to use the stock air box on the aftermarket carbs. I've seen the for sale add before, but can't seem to find it. I did find the plastic ones, but not the billet one. Thanks

Not really, not sure were you could find a uncrated older ski or even a great deal on new one. Here there in demand so we sell for retail no problem. Best deal I would think is finding a used one that someone bought and didn't use much? I see them on c list sometimes. If you plan on doing mods...

No, no older superjets , we usually sell all the ones we get and even dealer transfer some too.

I work at dealership in Austin Texas and we sell them! At least 4 a year. We don't make you get anything special, if you want to buy a new superjet and got the money it's yours! Lol.

Cool, I cut 4" off yesterday and put to lowest setting. still measures 34 inches from pivots to bars. I do have riser bars that are set straight back though. If I need to I can adjust those too. I'm 6'2 so I may need to go shorter? going to test out this weekend.

Mine looks to be at shortest point too. Since taking apart and cutting how much would you cut? 3"? What's rule on how much in end pieces?

Hi, I have a bob gen 2 and got to ride first time this last weekend. Wondering is there a good setting for length of pole or is it just whatever works? This is my first time on am hull and it rides super nose high compared to a round nose superjet. Pole is approx. 38-39" from pivot to bars...

JM had one straightened for me through his machine shop, it was a JM heavy duty one. Shaft was only .012" runout though. Maybe ask Chris what he would charge. I think it was like $17.00 shipped each way to Florida.

Just the regular weldwood cement, not gel formula. It makes more of mess, but seems to hold better.
