Thrust's single finger throttle is my favorite. I always manage to pinch my middle finger with other throttles. Lol

Maybe you can drill a hole in the ping pong ball and fill it with silicone? or great stuff?

Nps and npt are the same thread pitch for each nominal diameter. so re-tapping it npt is a piece of cake and seems like the easiest solution. Just run the tap in until theres 4-5 threads left showing on the tap. Do not tap it thru. Napa actually has decent taps if you're buying local.

I would be checking the threads in the pump to see if they're tapered rather than the fitting. A NPT to barb 90 fitting like that can be had at home depot or any decent hardware store.

It's hard to tell from the picture, but if in fact it is straight thread and not tapered, it's known as NPS thread. Might help your search.

I loved the flat orange. But Ashby's right...it got dirty soooo easily! Then again, he's always got grease on his hands! I think I have the other set of those "special" numbers in my car if you want a fresh set!

Make sure the pistons aren't installed backwards...

They also make really small glass beads you add to your adhesive for bonding aluminum and carbon to keep them from ever touching each other. :)
