If I want to know if a part is interchangeable between ski's I look up the part number and see if they match. Also aftermarket parts would be listed to fit both. I just put a sbt cable on mine and the quality looked like oem to me.

Number one would be a hooker 9/15 or 10/16. I have a 10/16 and love it. I also have a 08+ superjet impeller. That's a good choice. Solas concord 13/17 is supposed to be good as well. Keep in mind a good stock waveblaster impeller is pretty good.

What are your carb screws set to? Low screw which is towards the rear of the ski is 1 7/8 plus or minus 1/4. The high speed screw is towards the front of the ski and should be 1 5/8 plus or minus a 1/4. What do your spark plugs look like? It sounds like it is running too rich and is dumping oil...
