Surfriding Backflip cherry popping in Daytona

Maybe this has been discussed before, but I know daytona is notorious for breaking pumps/nozzles, and cracking nose pieces from the shallow depths. My question is if I want to attempt back flips, what do you guys do to determine water depth in unfamiliar areas? Or do you advise not to risk it...

    Surf rolls!

im wondering how much of a difference it would make waiting until you're leaving the wave before hucking it? Also, i think the folks that lean their weight directly to their side VS leaning towards where the fuel cap would be, makes lot of the difference in determining where the nose goes.. I...

The ski itself rides and handles great, even with a very limited setup, everyone loves the way the hull handles. My only complaint is I get a lot of splash over the nose onto my face. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah I started the thread before emailing. I'll seal it before Daytona, for now I'll add the micro drain under the tail pipe. So happy with the ski though. I'll be popping my back flip cherry before Daytona on it :) Thanks for a great product Tony Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
