Is it leaking on the check valves? I know when you rebuild them they are directional and that might be your issue

Yes a stock js or sx pump is fine. If you use the js one I’d recommend using a bulkhead brace. Most people run a straight 18, 19, or 20 depending on what you’re looking for. Boring the nozzle out too helps.

1991 550sx with a 650 silver motor. Conversion kit was from RIPPER INNOVATIONS. Lots of upgrades on the ski as well like lightened flywheel, 46mm carb, milled head, porting, blueprinted and bored pump, straight 18, 2” exhaust chamber extension, and quick steer. The Thing RIPS!
