No Harbor Freight tap for this operation. This is the one I bought to relocate motor mount holes on an SXR 1100 build.

Thanks! Too late on the spacer...I guess it doesn't hurt anything! Got blank engine mount plates because I was originally planning on using a Kawasaki 750 and have already drilled and tapped. Test fit with Cold Fusion motor mounts. Marked holes with white paint pen.

Since the starter worked great and it's just nasty looking, I'm going to refurbish it.

Donor motor runs great but has a nasty-looking starter so that'll get replaced with a high torque from WSM.

Mocked up the pump a couple of weeks ago and reinstalled the pump shoe with 3M 5200.

Bought this hull new last summer and it sat around waiting for it to cool off so I could get started on the build! That being said, it might hit the 60s again this week so who knows? Anyway, first AM hull and first extensive Yamaha involvement...here's a pic from a couple of months ago.
