Thank you.
BTW—I decided to pull the flywheel off to see if there is anything wrong in there. Do you suggest pulling the motor or just leave it in the hull for that job?
I did and it looks like that corrected it.
Now I get to deal with an odd no spark and or weak spark on one cylinder. Really strange…
I installed a new MSD coil and MSD enhancer and no luck.
Hopefully I’ll get it sorted out today so I can make it to Pismo soon.
Thanks for your help.
I checked the spark plugs on my Dasa 1100 yesterday to check the tune and found tiny water droplets on one spark plug. Pulled the head off and the dome had larger drops. The other dome was dry. Anyway, my guess is water is entering the cylinder at the exhaust manifold as the o-rings were fine...
Hey—you were right! One of carbon fiber reed pedals was gone.
I just got the ski back together and I will be heading out tomorrow to test again.
Thanks again for your help.
Hey guys-
I just took the ski to the water to do a water test while it was on the trailer and it fired right up. I had the flame arrestors off and immediately noticed fuel being ejected up and out of the front carb. It stumbled and would not stay running on its own. I restarted it a couple times...

I’m just a beginner.
Bring a race to Portland and I’ll be there.
Well, it sounds like fun but a 4 plus hour round trip and limited riding time does not appeal to me. I guess I’m spoiled by the closeness of the river here.
I did join your FB group though…
Anyway, thanks.
Well—it will do 72 mph which is average for mild builds (cams and high compression pistons) on race fuel and it pulls hard all the way to the top.
G’s—I have no idea but it turns like nothing else on the water. I’ve had it nearly completely on its side before it unhooked but it will regain flow...
Well, I know it may sound stupid but there is a long backstory that starts with me getting ripped off by a mechanic in Bellevue for over $10k.
I can’t go into details here but it is related to my both buying and selling this ski.
I have another ‘19 Edge that I will never sell and I do not need...
My first thought though was to list it locally as the guy I bought it from is well known in the Rickter community and I did not want anyone to think I was badmouthing him or trying to make him feel bad.
There was no intent on his part to sell me a ski with known issues. I know now that I should...
