talked to him today... little about it so far.
he has the top and bottom decks done. He made it super beefy (bomber build) and it will take a standard pole bracket, 144mm pump instead of 155mm and should be done by next week. Then I can get some pics up here and get to putting this thing...
so you guys are gonna pay a thief 500$ to return parts??? seems kinda weird, but hope it works out and he gets his stuff back.

Well, the FX1 build never happened due to me not really wanting to do all that silly pump crap. So, after riding The Circus Freak a few times in the surf I have truly fallen in love w/ this beast of a ski. I have never ridden anything quite like this thing. It's tiny yet handles incredible...
project is dead... Blame Tem for brining a damn Circus Hull over to the beach last couple weekends...

I rode Tems Circus Freak today in the surf and have to say it was the most amazing surf handling boat I have ridden... I really thought I would get on that tiny thing and it would just porpoise around like crazy and boy was I wrong. I felt comfortable right away and it felt so natural to ride...
I do agree w/ the fact that the salinity levels are much higher here in Fl than most places... Still see no issues, but I live on the mainland, not beachside
flushing your ski is optional... I ride surf just about every weekend for the last about 14 years and hardly ever flush anything any more, cause it makes no difference at all. I do rinse the engine compartment but flushing the internals of the ski is 100% optional. I really would like some to...
