What are you guys using to sand your hulls down to bare fiberglass? I'm currently using a DA with a 60grit pad and it's taking forever. On top of it my hull was painted by the previous owner so I have 5 hrs of sanding in and I've only got through the top coat down to the original blue. I'm sure...

Find a hole saw, jig saw, and a side grinder with a flap wheel and you can easily knock out an underplate in 30 minutes.

sounds like you gave it a proper break in. Sure turned out great. Was hoping to make this year my first sortie But my ski wasn't in running order. I should have just brought my boat just to go . After seeing all the pictures and videos there's no way I'm missing it next year

Worked on the chin pad Tonight. Just need to make some stand offs and tap a few holes to mount the pad to the pole.
