We pack the threads with clay or wax. Then it's easier to clean out. Pure resin gets brittle by itself, try adding some 1/4 chop strand and cabosil to the mix. Looks good!
So far just fines. I won't know about the license until it shows up in the mail. Fines came from the local magistrates office, the license is handled through the state. So it may be a week behind.
I just did one of these. The best way I found to hold the brushed back was push them all the way in and use the corner of 4 razor blades to lock them in place until you slide it together. Worked like a champ after I watched gorilla hands josh try to put it together for a good 45 min.
I'm buying the hunk of ice to make an ice luge Saturday night. Byob!
For those that don't know. A shot of liquor is poured at the top and you drink it from the channel at the bottom of the block of ice. I know somebody is gonna ask.
No room for rocker. This hull has front and rear rocker. Just not hyped up like others. There is 20% flat running area on the bottom the rest is all rocker
We are making some changes to our molds to accept the 155/160 pump easily. -and keep up with the rest of the industry- My question is will it bolt up where the 144 went and still line up (centered) with the drive shaft tube?? Also since I dont have a 155 shoe in my hand can anyone get me a...
I have a maxx pump and I'm told the tail cone provided with it is larger than the small skat cone, yet smaller than the medium skat cone. I have my setup dialed pretty close. I want to spend some time and effort tuning the pump. I'm about to order some skat track cones. Can anyone speak from...
Nah, I talked with Tony a few weeks back about this and he has a few that want to try the Aquabot. I'm pretty sure he has a spot by his shop. Not trying to take over in any way shape or form. but as a hull builder if there is someone at a surf event that wants to demo my flat water boat I'm...
Yea I'm not trying to make an even of it, I just know there are some that want to demo our hull on flat water, I'd have no problem taking the ski to a spot if someone wants to try it as long as its close by.
I'm bringing my flat water hull and Josh's. Ill mainly be there as a spectator. (I really don't want to put mine in the ocean). So if there is a flat water spot let me know, and if anyone is interested in demoing it I will know where to go.
Man I don't want to be the reason! What was I thinking.. I feel like a child that was just told to sit in the corner. Again let me just say this thread was meant to be a "learn from my mistake thread". It's here as a psa for all the other guys with a/m hulls riding illegally. If this thread...
Don't use trim, trim will get it to come over quicker, but you won't get the height you need to complete the rotation when first starting out. I get them around much further without using any trim.
