Why not cut the rails off the ski, put a gas tank under where feet are and shorten the whole front of the hull? Has anyone tried this? I want a back flipping jet ski also and have a spare hull thinking about making a back flipping SJ550.

So I can across a Fazer jetski, engine runs needs fuel tank, battery and probably prop redone. Should I sell the ski? Get prop redone by impros and put some kind of gas tank it? What do you all think I should do? How much is it worth? Couldn't find a thread on this ski.

I just bought 2 SJ550's. 1 is just a hull and the second hasn't ran in 8 years. So I know the 1 atleast needs its carb redone and fresh gas 50:1 ratio. Any other tips to get this back to a fine working machine? The other I going to fix hull up and make it shine and decide if I want to throw a...
