Just toss in a couple quarts of atf and let it run in the driveway for a while. That will clean it out nice.

The newer msd flywheels have a gear that appears much different. I haven't pressed one of the new gears off to verify. Pinning the gear is a good idea especially if the flywheel has been lightened. @speedysprocket I think he has a good bit of experience with the flywheel ring gears and such.

Keep in mind, there is 2 different msd flywheels out there. One of them has a very different ring gear.

The tnt setup should give you a little more tweaking ability. Plus there is no fear of cooking a chamber.
