try poking at them. i recently found a customers ski with something clogging them up. think it was some type of wasp or something that nested in there! even the pissers were clogged but easily cleared once probed with a steel wire

the blowsion pieces are not really necessary and break pretty easy. you can add some body filler ot the indentions on the tray and get a nice turf finish. heres one i did on a red sxr.

doing footholds right the first time is worth taking the time to know how to do it properly because otherwise they will leak water into your foam after the glasswork fails due to wrong resin, lack of glass, lack of proper foamwork, cheap footholds that crack easily, etc. ... epoxy resin only...

are you going to use clear white or neutral gelcoat? one oz is good for a qt but id mix that one oz in like half a qt and u will still have leftover material. you can get a translucent red mixed with celar gel and get a deeper candy look over a boring minimal gloss (unpolished) red
