I took one for a test ride many many years ago when my kids were young and it was so flimsy I would never put my kids in one for safety reasons. Then checked out an Isuzu Amigo… what a POS that was.
So...yeah...my carbs shook loose yesterday. That was fun. Can anyone tell me the nut size that mount dual 38s to a Yami 781BB? (I'm sure the same nut as for a plain old 701)
Thanks!
Translation: Thanks for your suggestion, you should place the ones with the number 130, which are the smallest or with the largest filling.
Do you have any idea what happens if you don't put any filling, what would the result be?
Thanks
65 is not that old. I'm 8 years from that and I'd guarantee I'm in better shape than 90% of the 37 year old guys out there. Now I just need the $30K ski....
Firefighter or Cop. Tons of overtime if you want it while you're young, decent money, and a ridiculously nice pension plan even if you retire at the crusty old age of 50.
If you are considering trying to change your ski into a freestyle ski, I'd advise against it. Been there, done that, spent a ton of money and a lot of time for limited results. You'd be better off selling it and buying a SuperJet, or keeping it for recreational riding and running buoys and...
Went for a ride yesterday and had an absolute blast. Ski is running better than ever and I am absolutely loving the addition of my FFH that I just installed. Got kinda tired after a while because the 781BB can be a handful for an old guy especially when it's really windy and choppy out there...
I ride a pre-08 which I prefer (yes I've ridden an 08+ and no thank you, not a fan), and yes the bottom deck is the same on the older RNs and all SNs, but the handling characteristics are still different. Not sure it's a different center of gravity or what, but I just feel more tied to the...
I'm with you on the SN deal. I prefer the FX1 over the SN by a country mile even though it is harder to ride and much more challenging to get good at. In order of preference for my skis:
1) RNSJ
2) FX1
3 )B1
4) SNSJ
You need an airbox. On my SXI Pro, all I did was remove the 'trumpets' to get more airflow and it ran like crap as you describe, so with the whole thing open like yours....fuggedaboutit.
