Out of curiosity, I called both Riverside-Cedar and Ivy Lea campgrounds (both in that area, St Lawrence Parks). Both have availability for June 26th weekend and are located on the St Lawrence River. Ivy Lea is in the 1000 islands. Both have a beach area and a boat launch.

It's a pretty long drive for me also. Its closer than any other ride so I'm ok with driving several hours each way (4.5h each way) . I only suggested it because, its the spot that raised all the interest in the first place.

What about the original spot on the original date? Just throwing it out there...

Any further development or has the whole idea fizzled out?

My buddy had the same issue on his 1100 conversion. He took it to a local machine shop and had them put in in a mill. They drilled it out and didn't damage any of the threads.

I have the same carb setup on my Dasa 1100 10mm but my jets are reversed (reverse jetting) and it works well. I have Novi 48's, PFP, TL and run 180psi. I also have a Dasa 908 5mm with the same setup and it seems to work well also (I've only been on it once so far with this setup). Hope that...

For the people that have done rear exhaust conversions... How thick was the fibreglass of your transom?

What about Sturgeon Lake? Lake Scugog? Kawartha Lakes area? Rice Lake? I know nothing of the area but it might be in the middle for everyone that will attend. Anyone ride in that area that can comment?... I don't really have a preference on location, I'll be there wherever it is.

^^I live in the area so I thought I would chime in... I don't know much about that campground but the water is rocky in that area if my memory serves me correctly. However, if you don't mind driving to a spot that isn't rocky from that campground, there is a launch where the Nottawasaga river...

We should try and find a place that offers camping near by and make a weekend of it. Also, somewhere central so it draws the maximum number of people... Just my 2 cents.
