    Hoping for some help

I have a solas swirl...can't remember the pitch off the top of my head. It wasn't a huge difference from my 9/15 hooker though. I'll sell it or you're welcome to use it for the weekend. I think I'm either coming Thursday evening or Friday morning.

I didn't have an oem bushing so i figured it was easier to make a bushing to fit rather than make/acquire an oem size bushing and modify the pole.

No major progress to show, but I did make some delrin bushings today during lunch to adapt my Jettlab steering system to my X Metal pole. I'm using an M14x1.5 40mm titanium bolt that's actually some triumph swingarm bolt I found on ebay. Also bought an unthreaded 2024 aluminum 1/2" clamping...

Haha! That was my original plan, but I don't have my motor yet. I hope he'll be bringing it to dobiefest though! So I'll just be a ski-bum and ride other people's skis!! Unless it's cold...my butt is staying out of the water if it's cold! :)

Ohh...now I'm confused. My 144 was upswept. I think my 155 is straight? Who knows? Lol. I think I'm going to start with what I have.

Cool! Were the same weight, I'm 5'11" ~145lbs, so I'll keep that in mind! I think I know where an upswept nozzle is...

What length rideplates do you use? The only phantom I've ridden has the uptilt nozzle, but an extended rideplate and it rides awesome! Mine came with a flush cut rideplate.

What's an x4 steering nozzle? I used a standard 155 63m yamaha reduction nozzle. My trim ring and a protec yamaha steering nozzle. Everything bolts right up! :p;)

I haven't posted details yet. Who knows how well it will work, it may have been a massive waste of time, but I like to tinker with things...so...yeah. hahaha. It's a 155mm 10 vane pump with an 83mm hub and a 1 inch setback.

I got the pump assembled, welded cooling line bungs to the stator, helicoiled the wear ring and shortened the pump bolts. I originally made my trim for a 144 nozzle, I was super happy that it bolted right up to the 155 nozzle perfectly! Still need to paint the nozzle and wear ring, but here she is!

Turfing all finished up on mine! Helping finish up @jo5hi3 's re-turf too. Made a couple of goof ups, but pretty happy with how it turned out! Got parts back from the anodizer as well!

    CAD-CAM talk

Yes I use it for work. The price tag certainly puts it out of reach for most for personal use. :/ Our aero group has a few seats of Catia as well, though I've never used it.

    Pole Length?

    Keep telling yourself that... :p

    CAD-CAM talk

Getting a solid post has been an ongoing battle. We have something at this point that's pretty dialed in and safe, but certainly not as robust as our Mastercam post. Great looking parts! I'd love to share some of ours, but that's a big no-no at work... As far as spaceclaim goes...If Ashby can...
