it steer just fine.. IMO, that thing carves better/tighter then my SXR. and don't think the 08SJ needs any quick steer at all. will go to a UMI if only the OEM breaks or become sloppy. is the steering cable on the 08 weaker? I only notice the nozzle end linkage is different. again.. will replace...
here's my new ride. Sold my 04 SXR w/wet pipe to get this 08 Superjet. it's totally different then the pre 08 SJ. This ski needs nothing as far as handling goes and has a awsome impeller to top it off, finally a SS impeller!! the pole I think is shorter which makes it easier to ride. and the...

Hey Guys,
does anyone know the jettings to use on a 96 Superjet w/just a set of flame arresters and primer kit, everything else is stock. and sometimes hard to re start in the water and will only start with throttle wide open while pressing the start button.
Thanks,
the front exhaust is for tricks with the ski's tail in the water. so your exhaust/air will not get suck into the jet pump plus less back pressure. if your not doing these tricks then there's really no need. and they all exit below the bond line except for the old 550's and the Flying Fish's old...
Does anyone have the time to give me some history and info about these motors and the person who built them. I see people selling them for big money and they look really tricked out w/the valves. I'm sure they perform excellent, I just wanna know more about it.
Thanks,
tee off by the battery and run it over the battery, elbow down and run it along side/under the carbs and out about 1-2" where the fuel tank ends. that's what I did.
hate to promise something and not deliver, I can't find the pics of the inside in any of my files the only pic I came to find is this. the exit is in front of the JetPilot decal. pretty much you run the hose along side of the carbs.
when I get a chance I'll post some pics of my old sxi w/front exhaust. you need to tee off behind the battery and the hose for the front exhaust will run over the battery and elbow down and run on the side of the carbs. it's easy to install just a pain when taking the battery out.
