Is denting the side of the pipe manditory?

I just received a new mod chamber from Art at Jetworks. I noticed that it is welded in the middle unlikle some others? Can anyone tell me why this is?

Tried it with the tether hooked up. It made no difference. We are using com 6 not 5 but no difference.

On mine it still has the stock start and kill switch. But no the tether was not installed.

What am I supposed to be using???

It was using com5, and every time the software would be scanning the ports, com5 would register as no connection found.

I am running an EPIC cdi on my 98 SJ. I cannot seem to get it to connect when I hook a lap top up to it to program 2 curves Chris from air time gave me. I have tried 2 different computers. I think I got it pretty tight with a long pair of needle nose pliers.

I have my trim all installed on my SJ. But how in the heck am I supposed to tighten up the cord gripper. I cannot reach it?
