On aftermarket 46's, Supertune Chucky had us drill out returns, converge the return lines into a single line with a #60 jet. Worked excellent on different cc size engines too.
Also try hooking up an extra ground from battery to engine with a jumper cable. The ground wire at the starter is low in hull and exposed to water often and a source of failure.
Also be advised you can test spark channels using a jumper wire on the brain pickup connector, touching yellow to yellow or brown to brown with lanyard in and brain powered on. I did this recently to confirm an intermittent working pickup/spark. Secure your pickup wires with heavy silicone near...
