I don't understand people that don't winterize their own toys. Up here they're charging $25 a foot to shrinkwrap a boat and $300-$400 to winterize the engine. So for a 22 foot pontoon boat, you're talking $850-$950 A YEAR!! Ridiculous. Buy a nice high quality 1200 denier tarp, build a frame...

Is there anything besides a worn impeller/wear ring that causes cavitation? Just replaced a pump on a Kawi 750SS 2 seater because it cavitated like crazy. Put in different pump, same result if not worse. UGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH thanks

Thanks Terry. My neighbor actually came to my rescue about a half hour ago. He had a 750ss that had a trashed motor but the pump looks far better than mine, so I traded him for a dorm room refrigerator that's been in my cellar since the Jurassic era.

My eyes are super lousy. I'm trying to fix my recently departed brother's superjet so his son can sell it. The choke knob was missing. Got a knob, but can't tell if it gets pinned in, or uses a set screw or maybe a cap head screw.......Can someone help me out please? Thanks
