IMO: Bad Idea
I'm not sure why you would want your bilge involved with the e-box at all.
There's plenty going on there as is.
Loop it through the battery power, fuse it if you feel the need, but don't involve the e-box.
My understanding is that it was a "surf thing" .....the idea being that water would flow easily across the tray when you're in the pocket, instead of pushing you down the face of the wave. (IMO poor logic or just bad surfing)
I think the cons were greater than the pros. For a short time...
I never "dented" my chamber. I did stuff it in there..."made it fit"... not really a good idea. Later grinded ribs. Grinding the hull ribs is the way to go.
Also contact cemented 1/4" rubber or turf scraps in other areas where the chamber contacted the hull, mounts etc...
That's crazy looking.
IMO, choice of oil will not cause that.
If I had to guess, I'd agree with the "maybe" in post #6, water.
Might be as simple as a bad gasket or o-ring.
I had it as a teen. Still have the tell tale lump below the knee-caps, but no pain.
I've never heard of anyone having pain as an adult.
My understanding was that it's totally associated with growth.
To be honest, I thought I was the only person in the world that ever had it.
That's some serious traveling.
As SJett said Sat & Sun are the good days.
Especially since the Flatwater Friday thing took hold. The event can seem like a ghost-town on Friday.
There are times, usually when a sweet vid is posted by California riders, that I just wanna hitch-up and start driving there.
We can wait years for surf that they get on a regular basis.
Then I calm down and feel lucky to have great riding very close.
The entire population can't live on the...
Painted the underside of the hood today.
No...the painters didn't do it. I didn't do any sanding on the patches or anything. It was primed a while ago.
Started getting mildew spots.
Now it's gloss black with Rustoleum spray bombs.
A few of us ride with these.....

....or something similar.
IMO, even a full face MX leaves you vulnerable to a nose job.
That said, I prefer the look of a chinpad. It makes it look more complete. But not really needed...
Mounting the rubber chicken is easier without a chinpad.

Chicken shows up around 1:29
It's official.
My ski has been sitting too long.
My wife just hung Christmas lights using the raised handlepoles as fixing points.
ACK!
Lights are nice, though.
61 at the St. Augustine Beach Pier today. (about 40 miles north).
My personal cutoff for wetsuit is 65.
But we'll see plenty of folks in just board shorts at the freeride where the water temp has been in the low 50's for the last few years.
Burrrrr......
The "B" in Carter B stands for "Bail", I think. lol.
You've gotta admit, we've seen a lot of great shots of Carter over the years, airborne, far from his ski! Gittin it!
Nice pics Pavi!
