OK thanks, and I looked into doing the crank seals but it seems like it would be to much of a challenge for me and I might mess something because I really don't have alot of experience with this stuff.. what do you think, is it simpler than it seems when reading about it?
Havent got a chance to look into whether or not they are reputable. I called an automotive shop and he said they couldn't do it but gave me this guys number and said call him, so I called him and he seemed like he knew what he was talking about but then again who knows. Seems to me that someone...
At the end of the summer last year I lost compression in my superjet, it looks like it needs new cylinders and pistons. Its a 760cc (out of a yamaha venture I think?) the cylinders say 62t on them, the pistons say 64x on them, and the crank case says 64y. Im trying to go the cheapest rout...
sorry Im new to this what do you mean by the pick-up? And the guy I got the stator from had an ohm meter and tested it right there when I picked it up and he had a chart and it looked to be in the correct range.
I messed around some more with the grounds in the ebox and charged the battery to 100%, now It sparks but I dont think its as strong as it should be (Its good and blue but not all that bright and I dont hear any clicking when it sparks which I should shouldnt I?) and It only sparks for 5 seconds...

I am fed up with this because I can not figure out what the issue is.
Last summer I was riding and my sj started loosing power and running like crap, eventually it killed and would not start again. After about a half hour of being stuck in the lake it finally started again. started riding home...
