I have a 91 SN SJ with a modded 701. Now when I am running it in the water I get a whining sound from under the hood, and the power surges. It doesn't do it all the time so I am lost on what it could be or how to fix/ find the parts.

I was wondering on everyone's thoughts here. I have a 701 bored over and a high comp head, intake and exhaust work, and was wondering everyone's thoughts on the temp sensor. I read that the motor will tend to run warmer with the head and 91 octane, and trigger it, is this true?

ok here is the deal, I have my 91 SN with a 701 boarded over and what not, and I took it out today (it was windy) and I was getting a very high pitched noise coming from the front of the ski. It didn't matter what speed or throttle, and it would come and go. Any Ideas?

Ok, I have a 91 SN and I have duel carbs and the rear tube hits the front FA. I was wondering if there is a way without chopping and modifying the outside of the hood to move the tubes. Can I just glass over the ports and drill another one in the front liner? Any ideas or help would be great

Ok, well I posted about this the other day, and I finaly made it. It was quick and easy and got the job done. All I have left to do is move the drum a bit forward and it will make it float better, and loading much easier.
