I have this plate on my RN and was wondering what if anything I should do with it. Its a skegged Ocean Pro, I was thinking of D cutting it at its extended length or cutting it flush with the hull then D cutting. Or just get a stock ride plate. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Here's my first shot at a ski build up. I decided what better way to learn to fiberglass then to cut a ski up!! Especially a 550 (what do I have to lose?). After seeing a few flatdeck's builds on the X, I pulled out the sawzall and cut away. All the wet foam removed !
