Is the piece im missing from the top of the water divider important? It was oxidized when I had my head off
last and now its gone. Probably a stupid question but I cant find anything on this part.
I just picked up a 1100 Kawi STX couch and thought it might be a good drivetrain to use in my Sport Cruiser. Ive seen a few X2's on here running this motor and the conversion doesnt look to extremely hard. Just wanted to see what you all thought of the idea.
Are the SJ pumps supposed to have tapered pump shafts? At the splines it measures 17.7mm and it tapers down to 15mm. It also looks to have been shortened and welded. The shaft seems straight though. I just have a feeling that ive got the wrong shaft in this ski.
I found another X-2 today. Its a former race ski of some kind. Its supposed to be a race fuel only motor but I will be checking compression tommorow to see.
