because its not approved for marine use... strictly for racing only.. yamaha requires u to have a license not the epa... and most of the time the dealers dont even ask for it. my buddy bought a 2014 last week.... its the same as buying a AM hull these days..guarentee you epa doesnt even know...
the epa isnt involved with superjets whatsoever..only reason they can produce a 2 stroke marine engine is its for closed course competition only.. technically you shouldnt be able to register them..for us.. new hampshire is behind the curve though they havent caught on.
ya already did that. 2k epoxy primer, black base coat. 4 coats of 2k urethane clear. doesnt hold up for poop. any rock it brushes against gouges down to the fiberglass. pretty sure bottom is gelcoated prior to moulding from factory. maybe i can do
a thin layer of west systems epoxy before i...
anyone ever brushed on gelcoat. if so what brand? i would like to do a thick layer on the bottom of my superjet. all the original is worn off down to bare fiberglass. I would rather re-gelcoat than paint soley for waterproofing/protecting it. It doesnt need to look perfect.
yea, you will overheat... and not enough water will flow through exhaust...losing half your water.
the reason you run one line to pisser from head with dual cooiling is so you dont have too much (double feeds) going into your pipe
thats how factory says to do it. I reverese the chamber lines though. outlet closest to manifold i put a straight fitting on it and that goes to pisser/stinger
you only do 1 outlet on head to pisser if you have dual cooling. cap off one or hook your flush kit up to it. the other outlet goes to bottom side of chamber
If its dieing out its not getting enough fuel.. if its cutting out its usually spark. if its loading up its too much fuel.. id check your fuel filter/fuel tank vent/internal filters in carbs
