I am loving my new career change. A lot different then engineering and manufacturing. But I can honestly say I don't miss the auto industry one bit! Pay isn't as great but it's made up with many other things. Glad I took the leap and the several months of training out of town.
Same here for me. Last night in e town on the company dime. But I'm ready for it to end. It's been a tough three months to be away from home.
I'm really living it up while I'm here lol
I work with almost all veterans. I was turned down due to eye sight or I would have joined as well. I think about Jessie every day he will always be missed
It sure is. Wish I had some pics on the inside. My dad and I completely restored it in '96. Would have been a lot easier and cheaper to tear it down and built a replica but there's no fun in that. has never left the family. I'm the last male of the Ragsdale's. It's up to me to keep it going...
Been in my family since the early 1800's the farm is my happy place. Dad and I built that cabin in 2003 out of the original stables that was built in 1880. The tobacco barn built in 1882 and the house in 1883
I get one day home a week. It's spent washing clothes and repacking. And then taking care of the farm. Muzzle loader comes in next weekend and had to get some things ready for my little cousins. 4 stands, 2 blinds cabin cleaned and some paths bush hogged to all.
Hoping I can make it Saturday...
I've been absent from the x for a few weeks. But my views are getting better
Loving the new job so far. Just the three months of training living in a hotel kinda sucks.
Sorry for late response. I could make this happen. But I am stuck in training for the next few months. Took a new job in the company. And spending life several hours away from home in a hotel
This was a few days ago, but on a more positive note. Just got my dad back home after his second emergency surgery that followed the first that started it all. He had me take this pic and send to our cousin so ask him how his beard was growing lol. Strongest man I'll ever know.
He's not out...
My dad is cheap. If he can fix it for 50 bucks and use it several more years that's what happens. It's always the ones with money that never spend it. Lesson learned a long time ago for me.
